A: Citizen Schools and Quail Hollow MS work together to ensure that our expanded day includes time for academic support that students need and enriching activities that they love. While students will not be able to participate in other after-school programming, the expanded day includes academic help, sports, arts, team-building, community outreach, service-learning, and more.

A: Many middle school students participate in something after school, and most of these extracurricular activities end at 5:30 or later. An expanded day schedule incorporates these opportunities for all children within one building. A snack is also provided to give children the energy they need in the afternoon.

A: Since your child will have the opportunity to work on their homework during the school day, they will arrive home already prepared for the next day. Families will have more time to spend together in the evenings.
